1. Our Commitment to Child Safety

Surrogate App is a community for single parents (18+ only) to connect, chat, and build relationships. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse, exploitation (CSAE), or any harm to minors. This document outlines our safety practices, moderation policies, and reporting mechanisms to protect children and comply with global safety standards.

2. Prohibited Content & Behavior

All users must adhere to these rules:

• Strictly No Minors: Users must be 18+ (verified via Google Play age gate).
• No CSAE Content: Prohibited activities include:
  • Sexualization of minors (text, images, or links).
  • Grooming, predatory behavior, or solicitation of minors.
  • Sharing content depicting child abuse.
  • Encouraging harm to children.
• No Misrepresentation: Users cannot falsely claim to be a parent or guardian of a minor.

3. Age Verification & Access Controls

• Age Gating: All users confirm they are 18+ during signup via Google Play’s age verification system.
• Parental Roles: Profiles must explicitly state if the user is a parent/guardian.
• No Minor Profiles: Accounts suspected of belonging to minors will be terminated immediately.

4. Content Moderation Practices

We use a layered approach to enforce safety:

• AI Detection: Algorithms scan profiles, chats, and images for CSAE-related keywords or media.
• Human Review: A dedicated safety team investigates reports and suspicious activity.
• User Reporting: Users can flag profiles, messages, or content via:
  • In-app "Report" button.
  • Email: info@surrogate.direct.
  • Third-Party Tools: Integration with PhotoDNA or Thorn to detect known CSAM.

5. Reporting & Escalation Process

• User Reports: All reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
• CSAE Content: If confirmed, we will:
  • Remove the content and ban the user.
  • Preserve evidence for law enforcement.
  • Report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local authorities.
• Transparency: Users will be notified of actions taken on their reports.

6. Privacy & Data Protection

• No Child Data Collected: We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
• Data Retention: CSAE-related content is stored only as required by law.
• COPPA/GDPR Compliance: We adhere to child protection laws globally.

7. User Education

• Community Guidelines: All users must agree to rules prohibiting CSAE during signup.
• Safety Tips: In-app reminders to report suspicious behavior.
• Parental Resources: Links to organizations like NCMEC and RAINN.
